Katrin Talbot

Australian-born Katrin Talbot’s collection The Little Red Poem is forthcoming from dancing girl press. She has three other chapbooks, noun’d, verb (dancing girl press), Freeze-Dried Love (Finishing Line Press), and St. Cecilia’s Daze (Parallel Press) and was recently nominated for two Pushcart Prizes in Poetry. Her poetry has appeared in numerous journals and anthologies. A song cycle based on her poetry was premiered in Toronto in May 2015, she has been poet-in-residence for Sound Ensemble Wisconsin, and she collaborated with Theatre LILA to produce 4 pieces for one of their shows. Her poetry has appeared in numerous journals and anthologies. She was voted Madison Magazine’s Best of 2015 Spoken Word Artist/Poet.
